only the 60gig and 80 gig ps3s are only ones that are backwards compatible.

it actually is moto. the ps2 games run slower than a ps3 game so it eats at your system it happened to my first ps3 i believe. so if you keep playing ps2 games with your ps3 its gonna turn into a ps2! so dont get a 400$ ps2. dont play ps2 games!
