So I'm getting an Xbox 360 for Christmas and I was wondering what you 360 owners think would be worth buying?
Naturally Halo3 is going to be my first purchase.
But what do you think are the best 360 games???
i was lookin for some with an online mode...
Madden 08 is prolly a sure thing too.
Anyone in any Halo 3 clans??? |

LMAO way to be into the gayest games of all history. Halo 3 is the only thing that really matters to me with 360. I have a halo party with my friends every weekend with 8 people or more. It is soooo damn fun.

Oblivion has had some AMAZING reviews and it just looks stunning to look at. I have to agree with you on that Raiden although I haven't actually played it. Dead Rising looks badass too.
In Zexies defense, guitar hero is fun as hell. But I do like my real guitar alot better lol.
Yea I've had a few LAN parties with Halo 2 and such but I bet it would be even more fun with Halo 3.
I've only played Halo3 like twice for a total of maybe an hour, hour and a half.
Has anyone figured out any B-X-R type shit on Halo or anything like that yet???? I'm very interested to hear the lil tips and hints before I get started.
What do you guys think of COD4??? I mean, WWII games are very abundant but this one just looks AMAZING. It does have some crazy-lookin weapons as well as graphics. Anyone got any experiences with it yet?

And I've played Gears of War quite a few times but it doesn't seem all that fun for some reason... maybe because I get my ass kicked by my experienced friends or something lol. But I just dont get what all the hype is about. I think i'm missin out on somethin here.

Wow, way to waste posting. He is asking about the 360, not the PS3. Please, just don't speak in this topic Raiden.
As for what Notorious asked...
Halo 3 is great. Online and off. I'm sure you know you can unlock the armor, customize your guy, and all that shit. It's great. The ranking system is pretty good too, I think.
Halo 3 is the only game that I have right now, but I have played lots of other games at friends.
Oblivion is amazing. It is so addicting and after you play it for a couple hours you won't want to stop. Eventually, I'll get this game and I think you should to. It's a good time waster.
I agree with you about Gears of War. It's not even fun. The hit detection online is good, but it takes FOREVER, and I mean FOREVER, to kill somone with the basic gun you start out with. This is no lie: I shot this guy in the face, that wasn't even moving with every bullet in my clip. He didn't even groan, let alone die. It's a shitty game and it blows in my opinion. Shouldn't waste your time.
I saw someone say something about Dead Rising. I haven't played this game, but one of my buddies has it and he loves to play it. From what I've seen it looks fun.
Rainbow 6 Vegas is also a great game. Before Halo 3 came out, that's what I would always play with my friends. Online is awesome and you can customize your guy pretty well. As you go up in rank and shit, you get better gear. I will definitely get this game too.
Call of Duty 4 looks sweet. Several of our guys have it for the PS3 and I'm pretty sure they love it. It looks sick and I know people that won't even look at their Halo 3 disc once they got it, so.
Also, Rockband is supposed to be sick. My friend told me about it and he said you and your buddies can make a band or something online. I'm not sure exactly. But, they said you can have a drummer, bassist, guitarist. And, you can play online so you could have one of your friends on drums, one on bass, etc. I'll probably get this one since my friends will be getting it.
So, basically, if you like shooters and online play I would go for:
Halo 3
Call of Duty 4
Rainbow 6 Vegas
There are lots of other games out there. Just check around and you should find some you are interested in. Hope this helps ya' out.

God I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one not jackin off over Gears of War lol.

I loved the old Rainbow Six's so I'll definitely be gettin that too.
Shit you pretty much sold me into Halo, COD4, Rainbow 6, AND Oblivion.
Good lookin out dude, lemme know if you get into any 360 clans at all Kenshin. A few of my cousins and friends are in Halo 3 clans but idunno if i wanna join in wit them.
Oh and I played Rockband and Best Buy. If you thought Guitar Hero was fun. Rock band is like 50x more interesting. Your right about the concept too, you each get an instrument and jam away.
